Wreaths for the Fallen Heroes

Pear Harbor Day, December 7th, is a day that  many pay tribute to our fallen heroes at memorial parks throughout the country. This year Christian County Elks donated $100 for wreaths and Veterans Chairman Denny Peterson, PDDGER Dena Wolf and Ted Ulibarri visited the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield to lay wreaths for our heroes including a few Elks that have left us.

Denny Peterson, Lodge 2777 Veterans Chairman, placing a wreath on Jack Kennon’s Wall Plaque. Jack was a 2777 lodge member and opened and closed the Mo Veteran Cemetery daily prior to his passing in 2017.
