The 3rd Annual Christian County Elks Car, Truck, Bike & Jeep Show at the Sertoma Duck Race was another success. Every year the show builds in attendees, even though four other car shows were happening from Branson to Springfield on the same day. Event registration started at 11am and 55 vehicles were on display until 2pm. Each entrant donated $25 to display their vehicle. As the crowd wandered throughout the show, each voted (People’s Choice Awards) for their favorite Car, Truck, Jeep and Motorcycle. And they needed to pick the Best in Show too. CC Elks Joe Edwards came away with all the gold. Joe’s 1956 Cadillac “Lucille” received honors as Best Car and Best in Show. The CC Elks Car Show is another charitable event that benefits Back to School Shopping with Kids in July. The event proceeds of $1,300 will help less fortunate children buy clothes and shoes from Walmart (Nixa and Ozark) for the upcoming school year. Thank you to all the attendees and to the Elks that supported our event. We cannot do it without the car enthusiasts and the Elks volunteers.
