Christian County Elks #2777 of Ozark made the holidays a little brighter again this year for less fortunate Veteran families. The Elks donated up to five boxes of food (ham, eggs, milk, bread, canned goods, laundry soap, pies, pancake mix and syrup, peanut butter, and much more) and personal items to thirty families throughout Christian County. The food was donated by Elks and friends along with Serenity Honors Charity contributing the bulk of the food items. Thank you to Scout Troop 201 for packing all the boxes, to the twenty volunteers who personally delivered to the Veterans last Wednesday, December 20, and to Elks Joe and Cherie Edwards who organized this charitable event.
