Congratulations to the Christian County Elks #2777 new officers installed last evening. PDDGER Kevin Wolfe kicked off the ceremony and swore in ten new officers. Outgoing ER, Michael Sweet, handed out very impressive ER Awards: Officer of the Year to Trustee Joe Edwards, Elk of the Year to Cherie Edwards, Distinguished Citizenship to District Veterans Chairman, Gary Bockman, Grand Exalted Ruler’s Outstanding Service Commendation to Michael Klinger PER and Larry Tuck PER, Certificate of Appreciation to Secretary Janie Jackson and Treasurer Jerry Fritchman PER. Michael and Felicia’s sons, Alex and Carter also received recognition for their devoted efforts and service throughout the year. Finally, the evening was topped off with a celebration cake and Michael Sweet receiving the “Exhausted Rooster” Award.
