Christian County Elks #2777 had the pleasure of hosting a Car & Motorcycle show for the Veterans in Defense of Liberty on Saturday August 29. Unfortunately, due the inclement weather many potential visitors stayed home, but over 100 guests enjoyed the 35 cars and motorcycles that were on display. Thanks to of CC Elks Trustee and facilitator, Charlie Hopkins, the Christian County Elks donated the use of the Lodge grounds for the show. Liberty Riders Commander, Terry Willey, and his team thanked the Elks for their donation, all veterans in attendance for their service and everyone that made this event a success. CC Elks Exalted Ruler, Charles Falzone stated, “we appreciate that the Veterans in Defense of Liberty brought their Car & Motorcycle show to our Lodge and our door is always open for future veteran events like this.” When lunch was served, everyone enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches and nachos hosted by the Elks. Thank you to all Elks who helped in the kitchen, the servers, the bartenders and all that prepared for our event. We cannot do it without you!
