Under a beautiful blue sky, Saturday the Christian County Elks 2777 hosted the 3^rd Annual Veterans Benefit Golf Tournament at Deer Lake Golf Course. Seventy-two players greeted the challenging course with open arms battling to win prizes and bragging rights. Over $2900 was raised for earmarked veteran’s events, one being the Annual Veterans Appreciation Holiday Thanksgiving Dinner November 20^th. A BIG thank you to Elks that made a difference at the golf tournament with course coordination: Exalted Ruler Scottie Butler, Leading Knight Charlie Falzone, Lodge Chaplain Mary Angell, Lodge Esquire Jan Bruenger and Loyal Knight Jennifer Deweerdt.
