To Our Absent Member

Lee Blevins was a charter member of the Christian County Elks 2777 and a Trustee for at least 10 years. Lee was also a member of the Shrine in Springfield MO. Lee was a dedicated and great Elk and devoted a lot of time to our Lodge in the early years. Lee had a construction business and managed multiple rental properties in Springfield. Lee passed away in July.

There will be the vacant chair

But though we no more possess him

Still our hearts his memory bear

But a while ago we gathered

Friendship beaming in each eye

Now the golden cord is severed

He has passed to realms on high”
