Legacy Awards Scholarship Program

Established in 1998, the ENF Legacy Awards program offers 300 college scholarships worth $4,000 each to the children and grandchildren of Elks members.
Eligibility: college bound high school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks are welcome to apply. Applicants compete against other children and grand children from the state of their sponsoring Elks Lodge. They are judged on the core values of the Elks National Foundation:
- Knowledge
- Charity
- Community Service
- Integrity
Applications: available online starting September 1, 2019.
Deadline: applications must be submitted online on or before January 31, 2020.

Emergency Educational Grants
Easing Financial Difficulties
Emergency Educational Grants provide undergraduate college financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disable Elks in the form of renewable, one year grants of up to $5,000. This grant is for educational assistance only and is not intended to cover the entire cost of a college education.
Eligibility:
Eligible applicants must:
- Attend an accredited U.S. college or university as a full-time (12 semester hours) undergraduate student.
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be unmarried and under the age of 24 during the academic year for which assistance is desired
Applications:
Available by request between May 1 and October 31 of the academic year for which assistance is desired.
