Christian County Elks Auxiliary held their annual Christmas Dinner and gift exchange on December 10. But rather than exchanging gifts, everyone donated products for Freedoms Rest, the Christian County Domestic Violence Center. The center supports women and children that have had to flee their homes due to violence and not having items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and diapers for their babies, etc. The Elks stepped up and ended up with a trunk full of products. Thank you to Sheila Rogers for preparing a wonderful pasta dish with shrimp, stuffed shells, salad and dessert.
