Breakfast & Boutique

What a fabulous time at the 1st Annual Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Boutique in December. Thirty-one vendors offered products from baked goods to lavish soaps, from Tupperware to children’s clothes, from roasted nuts to wonderful jewelry. It was a perfect event to pick-up any last-minute Christmas gifts. And thanks to our members and Scout Leaders, over two hundred pancake breakfast were served as the Elks opened their doors to the community. Santa brought smiles to everyone when he walked into the hall singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”! The kids, and few grown-ups, did not miss a chance to sit on Santa’s knee and whispered to him what they wanted for Christmas. Throughout the day the Springfield Metro Chorus and Jazz Quartet filled the Lodge with the sounds of Christmas. Thanks to Special Event Coordinator, Susan Fox, and Carmen Reyes along with ALL the Elks that made this day a success. And thanks to family, friends, and the community for the support of our first holiday event like this. Just another small demonstration of what Elks DO, support the community and children.
