Christian County Elks held their annual Hoop Shoot Competition over the weekend at the Ozark Community Center. Seven young men and 2 young women competed by shooting 25 free-throws, 10 the first round then finished up with 15. First place in each age category will move onto the SW Missouri District Hoop Shoot Competition in January. Second place will serve as an alternate if the first- place winner is unable to compete. Congratulations to all that competed. Elk Hoop Shoot builds friendships, comradery and strengthens the competitive spirit.
