Free Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Boutique Brings Joy to Ozark Community
“Ho-Ho-Ho, Merry Christmas,” shouted Santa Claus as he joyfully entered the Elks Lodge. The Christian County Elks Lodge 2777 of Ozark recently hosted its annual Free Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Boutique, bringing holiday cheer to families across the community. This heartwarming event combined festive fun, delicious food, and opportunities to give back, creating an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages.
“A community tradition, The Christian County Elks Lodge 2777 has long been dedicated to supporting the community, and this year’s event was no exception,” said Mike Klinger, Elks Public Relations Chair. “The Free Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Boutique served as a shining example of their mission to bring joy and connection to families in our community during the holidays.”
Families started their day with a hearty pancake breakfast, free of charge, courtesy of the Elks Lodge. The aroma of freshly cooked pancakes, syrup, and warm smiles filled the room as volunteers worked tirelessly to serve the community. Santa Claus made a special appearance, offering children the chance to share their holiday wishes and pose for memorable photos. The Holiday Boutique featured a variety of local vendors, providing attendees with a chance to purchase unique, last-minute Christmas gifts.
Children stayed entertained at holiday craft tables, where they could create ornaments, cards, and other festive keepsakes. The sound of the season was brought to life by the talented Springfield Chorus, filling the venue with beautiful holiday music that inspired joy and togetherness.
As the day continued, attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch of baked potatoes with a variety of toppings, prepared and served by Elks Lodge members and volunteers. The event was not just a festive celebration but also a reminder of the importance of community and giving back during the holiday season.
Families also had the opportunity to take beautiful Christmas photos together, preserving the spirit of the holiday season. The smiles and laughter echoed through the halls, creating a sense of warmth, and belonging.
As families left with full hearts and festive memories, the event reinforced the true spirit of Christmas—coming together as a community to share joy, love, and generosity.
