On Saturday October 14 Christian County Elks #2777 of Ozark hosted the 6th Annual Veterans Charity Benefit Golf Tournament at Island Green Golf Club. Fifty-eight players played this challenging course and when the dust had settled, the Health Markets sponsored foursome of David Frana, Kory Klinger, Theo Atchison and Jesse Kirkpatrick topped the Flight A with a score of 57. CC Elks and Veterans Chairman, Denny Peterson’s team of Roger Tipling, Darin Tipling and Jeromy Dawron won the Flight B division with a 67. Over $2500 was raised to support our veterans community for Thanksgiving dinner and Food Baskets at Christmas. Thanks to all our sponsors and volunteers who helped make our 6th annual event a huge success.
