Christian County Elks Host Annual Western Night
The Christian County Elks Lodge saddled up for another unforgettable Annual Western Night, drawing over 100 guests for an evening of boot-scootin’ fun, great food, and lively entertainment.
Guests were treated to a LIVE performance by Tyler Garroute, whose band kept the dance floor full all night long. From two-steppin’ classics to modern favorites, there was no shortage of toe-tapping tunes and smiling faces.
Dinner was a hit, featuring hearty catered grub by Gettin’ Basted and Lambert’s, keeping everyone fueled up for the fun ahead. The night also featured a dance contest and a Western Wear Contest, showcasing plenty of cowboy hats, boots, and bling.
Adding to the excitement, members of the **local 4H Shooting Club—Luck, Bubba, Grace, Rocky, DeeDee, and Mark—**were on hand helping throughout the evening, keeping things running smoothly and spirits high.
Guests enjoyed the event’s signature “Swamp Water” drinks, each served with a special “Get Out of Jail” key—because yes, there was even a real “jail” where partygoers could be “locked up” for not having enough fun! Of course, it cost a little to get out, but all in good humor and for a great cause.
The night was filled with laughter, dancing, and camaraderie—a true celebration of community and good times. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who attended and especially to the Elks members who worked tirelessly to make the event such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!
