Honoring Our Heroes: Veterans Day at Christian County Elks Lodge

The Christian County Elks Lodge proudly celebrated Veterans Day with a heartfelt ceremony led by Exalted Ruler Kevin Wolfe. Kevin opened the evening by sharing a moving tribute and explaining the true purpose of Veterans Day—honoring the men and women who have selflessly served our nation.

Among the highlights of the program was a powerful reading by Army Veteran Rex Krasche, whose tribute to Soldiers deeply touched everyone in attendance. The emotion in the room was palpable as members reflected on the sacrifices of our veterans and the freedoms they protect.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Tina and Earl Campbell, along with chefs Jason Factor and Mike Klinger, PER. The meal featured Cowboy Griller, Tarragon Carrots, Scalloped Potatoes, and a fresh salad—an outstanding feast enjoyed by all.

More than 40 members and guests came together for this special evening of remembrance, gratitude, and fellowship. The warmth and camaraderie made it a truly memorable Veterans Day celebration.
